G.I.C.Chauramehta,Reetha sahib road, Champawat is a co-educational,hindi medium school from class 6 to class 12.The school was initially started in 1961 at place chaura as a public school from class 6 to 8 later on the school was upgraded as a high school in 1980 and intermediate in 2004 .This campus was shifted from chaura to chaura pitta. After adopting by goverment ,in the year 1980 it has been started highschool and after 24 years of it in 2004 it becomes intermediate. G.I.C. Chauramehta,has lands in two plots at different places.Distance between them is approximately 900 meters.Total land of school is 65 naali(13039 square meters) School campus is situated at a distance of 8 kilometers from main town of Reetha sahib via road.the school complex has two double story and two single story buildings with all the facilities as necessary ,of well equipped science laboratory separate for highschool and intermediate both,computer laboratory,Library,multi-purpose hall,smart class with virtual panne.There has been continuous efforts to refresh the content as well as methodology of teaching learning process through co-curricular activities.We have been successful to a great extent in bringing out a fusion of indian cultural values and modern scientific knowledge on one hand and spiritual growth on the other hand.In a short period,the school has achieved considerable progress in almost all the facets of school life , academic, social, cultural, extra curriculum and spiritual development of the students and the other members of school community.
